4 things revealed by Trump’s Georgia indictment

1. Trump's Attempts to Obstruct the Electoral Process: In the indictment it claimed that Trump “knowingly sought to encourage and induce persons to interfere with the election by requesting and encouraging the Secretary of State of Georgia to ‘find’ votes and to ‘recalculate’ the election results to assist him in overturning the results of the election in his favor.”
2. Trump's Pressure on Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger: The indictment alleges that Trump “used his authority and influence to make repeated demands and requests of the Secretary of State to alter the vote count in the Presidential election in his favor.”
3. Trump's False Claims of Voter Fraud: The indictment claims that Trump “made false and fraudulent claims of voter fraud, irregularities, and illegal conduct in the 2020 Presidential election to the Secretary of State, other state officials, state legislators, federal legislators, and others to encourage and induce persons to interfere with the election by making materially false statements, including without limitation, falsely asserting that there were substantial numbers of illegal votes cast in the Presidential election.”
4. Trump's Attacks on Election Counting Procedures: The indictment accused Trump of “making false statements about the state’s election laws and procedures to members of the public, other state officials, state legislators, and members of Congress. These statements were intended to influence and intimidate those officials to alter or impede the official results of the election in his favor.”
