Bitcoin Developers Allege Craig Wright’s ‘Bogus’ Claims May Lead To An Admission In The Collapse Of Mt. Gox

A group of Bitcoin developers is alleging that Craig Wright’s claims that he is the creator of Bitcoin are false and pose a risk to the security of the Bitcoin network. The developers have accused Wright of fabricating evidence to support his claims and have suggested that the re-emergence of his pseudonym, “Satoshi Nakamoto”, which he has used multiple times in the past to claim ownership of the cryptocurrency, could lead to an admission from Wright that he was involved in the collapse of Mt. Gox, the world’s first major cryptocurrency exchange. The developers have further alleged that Wright’s claims may be a ploy to save his own skin from potential legal action brought by victims of the exchange’s collapse. It remains to be seen whether or not Wright will indeed admit to any involvement in the Mt. Gox debacle, but the fact that such allegations are being made casts further doubt on his claims to being the father of Bitcoin.
