Inc Canada Silver Cobalt Works Inc. (CSCW) is a Canadian-based tech company that develops and produces recyclable metals and precious minerals. The company was founded in 2015 and is based in Cobalt, Ontario. CSCW is focused on the exploration, development and production of cobalt, copper and nickel from the cobalt mining region in Northern Ontario. CSCW operates a permitted processing facility in Cobalt, Ontario, and is the only permitted cobalt refiner in Canada. The company has the exclusive rights to use a hydrometallurgical technology for the recovery of cobalt from used lithium-ion batteries, and has the project in operation. CSCW has a mineral extraction technology that uses a natural lixislotion process to separate metallic-rich ores from barren soils. The company also owns a patented metallurgical process that recovery base metals from sulphidic ores, and is constructing a proprietary pilot plant to test new technologies for cobalt and silver extraction. CSCW is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and trades under the symbol CCW. The company recently closed its initial public offering in December 2019 and began trading on January 8th, 2020. CSCW is the only TSX Venture Exchange-listed company dedicated to cobalt exploration, development and production in Canada.
