Delta flight forced to turn around because of diarrhea incident

In August 2018, an Atlanta-bound Delta Airlines flight turned around shortly after takeoff due to a “diarrhea incident.” Flight 2374 had departed from Los Angeles International Airport when a female passenger reported feeling sick shortly after takeoff. According to reports, she had a “diarrhea incident” that made it impossible for her to remain on the flight. The plane had to be diverted back to the airport to accommodate her. Passengers told Fox11 Los Angeles that they had noticed an unpleasant smell several rows back and had realized it was coming from the woman. The plane was met by medical personnel upon landing at LAX and the sick woman was given medical attention. The rest of the passengers were put on a later flight.
