Pence raises less than $1.2 million, leaving questions about debate eligibility
Pence's total fundraising haul of less than $1.2 million in the last quarter leaves some questioning his eligibility for the September 29th presidential debate. In order to qualify for the debate, candidates need to reach at least 2 percent in four qualifying polls and raise over $2 million from multiple donors. Pence, for the time being, does not appear to have achieved either goal. However, given that the 3rd quarter fundraising reporting period ends September 30th, Pence still has time to raise the necessary funds.
