TV chef says he’s closing his Michelin-starred restaurant for ‘better work/life balance’

Acclaimed TV chef, Jean-Christophe Novelli, has announced the closure of his two Michelin-starred restaurant in East Hertfordshire, stating that he needs to spend more time with family and needs a “better work-life balance.” Novelli, who has appeared on ITV’s Hell's Kitchen and BBC's Saturday Kitchen, said he was no longer able “to give the business the 110% dedication” it needed. He added that the increasing demands of the restaurant industry and the need to travel around the country had pushed him to make the decision.
