Panama deports 29 Colombian migrants on first US-funded repatriation flight

The Panamanian government has deported 29 Colombian migrants using the first US-funded repatriation flight. This move comes as part of the United States' efforts to curb the inflow of migrants to its borders. Authorities stated that the deported individuals were adults who had been in detention centers in Panama. The US is set to finance another 79 repatriation flights, assisting Panama and other Central American countries in returning migrants to their home nations.
