An unexpected sight to behold: Ted Cruz working bipartisan deals

While it may not be a regular occurrence, it's inaccurate to say that Senator Ted Cruz never works on bipartisan deals. In fact, during his time in the U.S. Senate, Cruz has occasionally partnered with his colleagues across the aisle on certain initiatives. One example would be the 2019 trip he took with Democratic Senator Chris Coons to tour the International Space Station in Houston, as part of their shared effort to maintain American leadership in space. They also jointly introduced a bill to permanently fund the International Space Station through 2030. However, Senator Cruz has also been known for his staunch conservatism and has often been involved in confrontational politics. Still, like most politicians, he does occasionally work across party lines to achieve common goals. How regularly this happens can depend on many factors, including the specific issues at hand, the current political climate, and the individual politicians involved. While it might be a surprise to some to see Ted Cruz working on bipartisan deals, it's important to remember that successful politics often involve compromise and cooperation, even between those who usually disagree.
