In October 2020, automotive company Tesla recalled around 120,000 Model X and Model Y vehicles. The recall was issued due to a potential faulty latch on the doors, which could open during a crash, potentially putting occupants at risk. The company issued a voluntary safety recall and will be issuing a free repair to customers facing this issue. There have been no reports of crash related injuries yet, but the company is working to address the issue as soon as possible.
